At around 08.00, your friendly tour guide will pick you up and be your companion throughout the Hanoi half-day city tour.
Our first stop is the Temple of Literature: step into this ancient Confucian temple, marvel at the stunning architecture, and learn about its historical significance as Vietnam's first national university.
Next, explore the One Pillar Pagoda, a unique structure that stands on a single stone pillar. Listen to the fascinating story behind its creation and discover the spiritual importance it holds for the Vietnamese people.
Then make our way to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Pay your respects to the great leader and learn about his remarkable contributions to Vietnam's independence.

After a delicious breakfast, get ready for an enchanting journey to Hoa Lu - Tam Coc in Ninh Binh province.
08:00 - 08:30: Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the beautiful province of Ninh Binh. As you travel, take a moment to breathe in the fresh air while enjoying the picturesque rice fields along the way.
Upon your arrival at Tam Coc, a traditional sampan boat ride along the Ngo Dong River to explore the stunning limestone karsts and scenic landscapes.
The boat ride lasts for about 2 hours and takes you through three caves - Ca Cave, Hai Cave, and Ba Cave. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the surroundings as your boat gently glides through the winding river.
Around noon, stop at a local restaurant and enjoy the local special cuisine in Ninh Binh.
Afternoon
It's time to discover the ancient capital of Vietnam, Hoa Lu, which dates back a thousand years. You'll have time to explore the temples of King Dinh and King Le here.

4Day 4: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Romantic Overnight On Cruise
Morning
Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel.
Around 08:00 - 08:30, our driver will pick you up for a scenic journey to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its awe-inspiring natural beauty. The drive will take approximately 2.5 hours.
Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by the friendly boat crew, who will assist you with the check-in process.
The cruise tour starts at around 12:00. Enjoy a delightful lunch with fresh seafood as you cruise through the bay and take in the picturesque islets of various shapes that only can be seen in Halong Bay.
Afternoon
Take a short break after your meal and get ready for various activities in the afternoon, such as kayaking, swimming, and cave visiting, depending on the day's cruise itinerary.
Return to the cruise, enjoy the sunset bar on the boat, and enjoy a delicious dinner at around 19:00 - 19:30.
There are still many exciting nightlife activities that you could join with your partner on board, such as squid fishing, board games, movie watching, night bar, etc.

5Day 5: Fly to Da Nang - Journey to the Charming Hoi An
Morning
Start your day with a Tai-chi class on the deck of the cruise ship, or simply wake up early to witness the stunning sunrise over Halong Bay. Then enjoy a light breakfast served at 07:00.
Afterward, continue to explore one of the magnificent caves in Halong Bay or go kayaking to explore the bay's natural beauty.
Return to the boat at 10:00 for check-out. Then enjoy a delicious final meal on board. Between 11:30 and 11:45, the boat will arrive at the port, and the crew will bid you farewell. Our shuttle bus will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in Hanoi.

Your driver will transfer you back to Hanoi for the flight to Da Nang City.
Upon your arrival at Da Nang, take a 45-minute ride to the hotel in Hoi An. The rest of the day is your private time to relax and prepare for the next exciting day.

Your explore begins at the lively Hoi An Market, a colorful hub filled with local produce, handicrafts, and the energetic rhythm of daily life.
Just nearby is the Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, known for its striking gates, dragon sculptures, and ornate rooftops. Here, you’ll learn about ancestor worship as you observe the family altar and watch locals making their offerings.
You’ll then explore some of Hoi An’s beautifully preserved old houses, such as Phung Hung or Tan Ky, both standing strong for more than 200 years. Continue to the Museum of Folk Culture, set inside a 150-year-old former merchant house, where displays illustrate traditional life in ancient Hoi An. What to pack for this route
Bring comfortable walking shoes, light breathable clothing, sun protection, a compact rain layer and personal medication and a small day bag.
Weather: plan by region, not one forecast
Northern Vietnam can be cool or misty from December to March; highland areas such as Sapa are noticeably cooler than Hanoi. Central Vietnam has a different rain pattern, with Hue often wetter from September to February. A light rain layer is useful even in the drier months.
Money, exchange and fair payment
Vietnam’s currency is the đồng (VND). Keep some cash for markets, street food and smaller local purchases; cards are practical for many larger expenses. Exchange rates move daily, so use the exact VND amount shown by your bank, card terminal or EcoTravel payment confirmation rather than an old screenshot.
