At 08:00, your adventure begins as you are picked up from your accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City. From there, You'll embark on a 2-hour drive to Cu Chi Tunnels, Originally built in the 1940s during the First Indochina War against the French, the network spans over 250 km, allowing North Vietnamese forces to launch surprise attacks and transport supplies.

Before entering, You'll watch a short documentary on how these tunnels were constructed and their critical role during the war. Then, You'll have time to crawl through a section of the tunnels and see the ingenious traps and hidden entrances used in guerrilla warfare.

Following this tunnel discovery, You'll enjoy a light lunch, savoring some regional specialties, giving you a taste of local flavors before continuing your tour.

Afternoon

After lunch, You'll dive deeper into Ho Chi Minh with a guided city tour. First, You'll pay a explore to the Old Post Office and Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, two iconic examples of French colonial architecture that remain integral to the city skyline. Built between 1877 and 1883, Notre Dame Cathedral is the largest Catholic church in Vietnam. Built using French-imported materials, this cathedral was a central place of worship for French settlers and Vietnamese Catholics.

The Old Post Office, an impressive structure dating back to the 19th century, showcases the French Renaissance style and functioned as a key communication hub during the war, used by the South Vietnamese government for relaying messages.

Next, You'll head over to Reunification Palace, one of the city's most important structures. Formerly the Presidential Palace of South Vietnam, this was the headquarters of President Nguyen Van Thieu until the North Vietnamese forces seized it on April 30, 1975. Inside, explore war rooms, underground bunkers, and strategy rooms used during the conflict.

Later on, it is time to make your way to the Remnants Museum. As a member of the International Network of Museums for Peace (INMP), this museum provides a powerful, unfiltered perspective of the war’s devastation.

No trip to Ho Chi Minh City would be complete without a stop at Ben Thanh Market, a symbol of the social life of Saigonans. During the war, the market remained a bustling commercial center, serving both locals and American soldiers stationed in Vietnam. Now this bustling market has a wide array of local goods and distinctive souvenirs, perfect for purchasing mementos for your loved ones.

Once done, You'll return to your hotel, marking the end of a memorable day filled with history, culture, and experiences.

Between 07:00 and 07:30, You'll start your journey from Saigon to Ben Tre Province with a pickup from your hotel. During the trip, You'll be captivated by the natural beauty of the countryside with green forests and glimpses into the daily life of locals.

When arriving, your adventure unfolds with a scenic cruise along Ham Luong River, one of nine estuaries that characterize the delta. This branch of the Mekong River was a vital route used by the Vietnamese soldiers to transport supplies. The US military launched Operation Game Warden to patrol and disrupt VC activities, leading to intense naval skirmishes in the area. Today, it offers serene waters and picturesque surroundings that set the perfect tone for relaxation and exploration.

Along the cruise, You'll stop by a local coconut workshop to watch the fascinating process of making elaborate traditional products. Here, You'll have time to engage with the warm and friendly Ben Tre people, obtaining a deeper understanding of their craftsmanship and way of life.

Next, a leisurely walk brings you to a mat-weaving house, where You'll observe the intricate art of mat-weaving and learn about the item that plays an important role in the spiritual life of southern Vietnam. While soaking in the experience, You'll also enjoy tasty fresh local fruits paired with a refreshing cup of tea.

Your day continues as you hop on a ‘xe loi’ (motorized rickshaw) or bicycle. This kind of vehicle takes you through verdant fruit orchards and brings an intimate look into the diverse everyday life of locals.

Afternoon

After a delicious riverside lunch, the rest of the day takes a peaceful turn as you set sail on a sampan boat to navigate narrow, winding canals. Surrounded by the rich biodiversity of the delta, You'll pass by a variety of plant species lining both sides of canals.

As the day draws to a close, around 17:00, You'll head back to your Saigon hotel or continue to your next destination.

Wake up and start your morning with a transfer to the airport as you prepare to board your flight to Da Nang. When the plane ascends, do not forget to take a moment to feast your eyes on the views of the beach city from the window of the aircraft.

Upon landing, our friendly driver will be there to welcome you. From the airport, You'll be taken to your hotel. Once there, complete check-in and get settled in your hotel room.

On Day 5, you get set to travel back in time to hear about the My Lai Massacre. But prior to that, you begin with a explore to the Pig Market. Here, You'll witness scenes of townspeople's daily life up close.

As you make your way to My Lai, You'll also stop at Khuong My Towers, constructed by the Champa Kingdom in the 9th century. The place will leave you knowledgeable about the ancient heritage of the area, followed by a ride to the Nui Thanh Victory Monument.

My Lai Village holds profound historical significance due to the tragic events that unfolded here during the Vietnam War. On March 16, 1968, soldiers from Charlie Company of the US Army 1st Battalion and 11th Brigade entered My Lai in search of Vietnamese forces. Mistaking villagers for enemy combatants, they carried out the mass murder of over 300 unarmed civilians, including women, children, and the elderly. The massacre until now remains one of the darkest chapters in the country's history.

You can either select a private or shared tour of the historical site of My Lai and gain a reflective understanding of these tragedies. The explore includes a tour of the museum, where You'll learn more about the horrific event and the chance to meet local villagers who are descendants of those who survived.

You'll also have time to walk across the village itself, experiencing the quiet reverence that surrounds this place of remembrance, before returning to Da Nang.

At 07:45 - 08:00, we will pick you up from your hotel in Da Nang, setting off for Ba Na Hills. On arrival, You'll check in at Suoi Mo Cable Car Station and get on the cable car, which offers views of mountains while moving you slowly to Marseille Station.

At the top, You'll have the chance to marvel at Golden Bridge, one of the most famous tourist sights in Vietnam. Held up by two giant stone hands, this pedestrian bridge presents panoramic views of the hills and forests that are around it.

Next, You'll head over to Jardin D’Amour, a peaceful and colorful garden filled with flowers, fountains, and sculptures, all set up nicely together. It is a worthy spot to have your time leisurely strolling around and enjoying a quiet atmosphere.

Continuing your exploration, You'll explore Linh Ung Pagoda, a sacred Buddhist temple known for its massive statue of the Goddess of Mercy.

After half a day of sightseeing, it is time to indulge in a yummy lunch at a local Vietnamese buffet restaurant, where You'll find over 70 dishes showcasing the best of Vietnamese cuisine.

In the afternoon, spend your time enjoying thrills at Fantasy Park, an amusement park that has a range of fun rides, games, and attractions. Whether you are looking for exciting roller coasters or a more relaxed experience, there is something for everyone to enjoy here.

Before finalizing your day at Ba Na Hills, You'll behold views of the entire location from King Peak at an altitude of 1,487 meters.

In the end, you return to Cable Car Station, and our guide will take you back to your hotel.

NOTE: The ticket for the day includes round-trip cable car rides and access to key landmarks such as Golden Bridge, Fantasy Park, and Moon Castle. Please be aware that this does not include entry to Wax Museum, Debay Wine Cellar, and other certain games.

After breakfast, You'll check out from your hotel and get ready for the upcoming schedule. Our driver will meet you at the hotel and drive you to Da Nang Train Station. From there, You'll get on a train for what is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful train routes in Vietnam.

During 3 hours of travel, prepare to be treated by majestic and immense natural scenery, particularly when the train winds along Hai Van Pass. Today, remnants of French-built bunkers and US military fortifications can still be seen at the summit.

There are also times when You'll be able to feel quiet moments, appreciating beautiful mountains and clouds in Lang Co Bay, the last section near Lang Co - Hue station.

Upon arrival, our driver will be there to greet you and take you to where You'll stay in Hue.

Day 8 kicks off with a hotel pick-up at 08:00 - 08:15 to move towards the boat station. From there, You'll get on a boat ride along the poetic Perfume River and take in the natural beauty of the region. During the Tet Offensive of 1968, the Battle of Hue saw intense fighting along the riverbanks, where the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) launched attacks on US and South Vietnamese forces.

After that, You'll reach Thien Mu Pagoda, renowned as the tallest pagoda in Vietnam. Its multi-tiered structure is not only an architectural marvel but also a symbol of Hue, frequently referenced in folk ballads as the emblem of the city. In 1963, this pagoda became a focal point for Buddhist protests against the South Vietnamese government under President Ngo Dinh Diem.

Imperial Citadel of Hue is the next destination. It is the largest and most impressive building in modern Vietnam, with a 520-hectare walled enclosure of Hue monuments.

Keep your trip going with a explore to Dong Ba Market, the oldest and largest market in Hue. Here, you can purchase commodities at low costs, including home goods, handicrafts, apparel, fresh food, and local delicacies. During the war, the market area was a strategic supply point for South Vietnamese and US forces.

Today, the journey begins with an 08:30 departure from your hotel, where our driver and tour guide will take you on a fascinating trip into Quang Tri Province. Your first stop will be at Khe Sanh, an ancient battlefield where the US Marines fought against the North Vietnamese Army during the Vietnam War. You'll have time to explore this important area and delve into the history of the fierce confrontation.

Next, the tour continues to The Rockpile, a 230m-high limestone outcrop, used as a strategic observation post by US Marines (3rd Division). From here, You'll get authentic information about the military tactics employed in this turbulent time.

Afterward, let’s go to Ho Chi Minh Trail. The North Vietnamese Army utilized this network of roads to transport troops and supplies. As you explore the trail, You'll learn about the importance of this trail in the war effort.

The day then proceeds with a move to Ta Con Airfield, A US Air Force base supporting operations in Khe Sanh and the DMZ. Here, You'll see remains of the airfield as well as abandoned planes and helicopters left behind.

By 12:00, You'll have a tasty lunch at a local restaurant, sampling authentic Vietnamese dishes.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, You'll pass the Ben Hai River, once the demarcation line that divided North and South Vietnam during the war. When you cross over it, our guide will share the history of the river and its role in the war.

Following this, You'll get to explore Vinh Moc Tunnels, a complex of tunnels applied by the North Vietnamese Army to shelter from relentless bombing raids. The tunnels also provided a safe haven for local villagers, and You'll have time to walk through them, getting a sense of the resilience and hardships faced by those who lived here.

Finally, after a full day of activities, You'll arrive in Dong Hoi, where You'll check in to your hotel and rest for the night.

At 08:00, our driver will arrive to pick you up and transport you to Phong Nha National Park. Let’s experience wonders inside by joining a full-day tour that will take you to the highlights of this area.

Starting from the Ho Chi Minh Trail, You'll take a leisurely boat trip along Son River to the magnificent Phong Nha Cave. This is a UNESCO World Natural Heritage that has been recognized as one of the longest and most stunning karst caves in the world.

By cruising along the river, you can also explore Bi Ky Chamber, Fairy Lady, and Royal Palace Cave, each adorned with unique and breathtaking stalactites and stalagmites that defy imagination.

After the boat trip, You'll head back to the pier for a delightful lunch served at a local restaurant.

On Day 11, You'll start with a transfer to Dong Hoi Airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, You'll be taken to your hotel to relax before having an evening.

From 17:45 to 18:00, You'll meet our guide in the hotel lobby for an exciting Hanoi street food tour in the nighttime.

The first destination for today is the French-style Long Bien Bridge, having existed for one hundred years. From there, You'll take the path around Hoan Kiem Lake to enjoy the refreshing atmosphere of nature, getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Continuing onward, You'll pass by the elegant Hanoi Opera House and the historic St. Joseph Cathedral, both of which exude the charm of the French Quarter.

Expanding further out from the Old Quarter, the scooter ride will take you past some of Hanoi’s most fascinating landmarks, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Ba Dinh Square, Tran Quoc Pagoda, West Lake, Truc Bach Lake, and Hoan Kiem Lake.
