Muong Hoa Valley Trek Begins — Y Linh Ho Village
Begin your full-day adventure in Muong Hoa Valley with a 5-kilometer guided hike. Your first stop is Y Linh Ho Village, where views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range open up around you. Here you'll observe ethnic minority children in distinctive brocade clothing going about their morning routines — an authentically unhurried scene.
Lao Chai Village — Black Hmong Terraced Fields
The trail continues to Lao Chai Village, home of the Black Hmong ethnic group. This is the most photogenic section of the valley — the terraced fields here cascade down the hillside in wide, sweeping layers that turn golden in September–November and vivid green in summer. Bac Ha Sunday Market — The Most Colorful Market in Northern Vietnam
