Tour Highlights
This 2-day Sapa & Fansipan tour combines two of northern Vietnam's most rewarding experiences in a single itinerary. On Day 1, you arrive in Sapa and spend the afternoon exploring Cat Cat Village — a living Black Hmong community set in a mountain gorge with traditional weaving, a French-era waterfall and over a century of highland culture. On Day 2, you ride the cable car to the summit of Fansipan at 3,143m — the highest point in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia combined.
Fansipan (Phan Xi Păng) stands at 3,143 meters in the Hoang Lien Son range. The Sun World cable car (opened 2016) is the world's longest three-rope cable car at 6,292 meters. After the 20-minute ascent, 600 stone stairs lead to the summit cross — approximately 1.5 hours round trip. The cable car ticket (~$39 value) is fully included in your tour price.

Your trekking adventure begins with a captivating 3km hike from the town to Cat Cat Village, offering a unique glimpse into the daily life and customs of the Hmong ethnic group.
On the way there or back, make your way back to the town to relax, which will lead you back to the Sapa town center.
Fansipan Cable Car · Summit 3,143m · Return to Hanoi
After the delicious breakfast in Sapa, head to the Fansipan Cable Car Station, where an extraordinary journey awaits. After purchasing your ticket and stepping into the cable car, you participate in an incredible 20-minute ride and start to breathtaking views of the majestic mountain range below.
During the journey, you have the opportunity to make a stop at Dim Ban Thang To Pagoda, a serene oasis amidst the mountainous scenery.
To reach the summit of Fansipan, prepare for a climb of 100 stairs that takes approximately 1–5 hours. At the summit, you will be greeted by stunning panoramic views, extending as far as the eye can see. Here, tourists can take time to enjoy the traces and capture memorable photographs of the breathtaking vistas and vibe in the dazzling step.
You will descend from Fansipan Mountain using the cable car and savor the last remnants of your mountain adventure. After that, board a convenient bus for your journey back to Hanoi.
