Trip Itinerary

Go beyond Sapa town on this 2-day Sapa trekking tour, following the route through Y Linh Ho Village, Lao Chai Village, Ta Van Village and Cat Cat Village. Terraced landscapes and ethnic-village life are the focus, while the homestay element keeps the experience closer to the countryside than a quick out-and-back day tour. 1Day 1: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van Village

Morning

09:30: Start the trip with a 6 km walk heading southeast of Sapa, along the stunning Muong Hoa Valley, toward Y Linh Ho Village, home of the Black H’Mong ethnic minority.

Continue a 2 km trek down to Lao Chai Village, where Travelers can take in the breathtaking terraced rice fields and observe the daily life of the H’Mong people.

Journey onwards to Ta Van Village, inhabited by the Dzay minority people. Here, Travelers will have lunch at a local family’s home – a great chance to discover their traditional house architecture, unique lifestyle, and fascinating customs.

Afternoon

After lunch, take in the peaceful landscapes as you walk another 2 km trek to the bus stop in Ta Van. Transfer back to Sapa by jeep or minivan.

Cat Cat Village Home To The Hmong People in Sapa
2Day 2: Cat Cat - Sin Chai

Morning

After breakfast, start the trek with a 4 km walk to the southwest of Sapa toward Cat Cat Village, home of the Black H’Mong ethnic minority.

Explore the traditional houses, local crafts, and daily life of the villagers. Relax by the picturesque waterfall and explore the remains of a hydroelectric power station built by the French during colonial times.

Take in a picnic lunch by the river, surrounded by peaceful scenery.

Afternoon

Continue trekking about 3 km to Sin Chai Village, located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain - known as “the Roof of Vietnam and Indochina.”.

From Sin Chai, take in the vast, breathtaking landscapes before meeting your jeep for the drive back to Sapa town.
