In the morning, your Mekong Delta adventure begins with a boat pick-up at the Cai Be tourist pier.
Your first stop is the iconic Cai Be floating market, a bustling hub of activity that provides a chance to interact with local traders and learn about their unique way of commerce. From there, continue to the Com candy craft village to observe the intricate candy nugget-making process and taste the freshly baked sweet nuggets.
The journey continues to a local bee farm, offers insights into the world of beekeeping and savors the delightful flavors of honey tea. The boat ride also takes you to Tan Phong island for a garden tourism experience.
Next, you can immerse yourself in a captivating garden folk music session with talented local artists while sipping tea with seasonal fruit from your gracious host. Moving on, embark on a serene sailing adventure through picturesque canals to Mekong Ecolodge.
Before lunch, our chefs will be your guides throughout the cooking class. After all the hard work in the kitchen, it’s time to enjoy the dishes you’ve prepared.
Afternoon
This afternoon, you have the chance to take a leisurely stroll around the lush fruit and flower gardens or enjoy the fresh fruit on the spot, including apple, cherry, guava, etc.
From 13:00, tourists will receive bicycles to join an exciting exploration of Tan Phong Island. You can explore local homes to learn traditional crafts such as rice paper roll-making, hammock knitting, water hyacinth weaving, and bamboo nail file crafting.
After that, bid farewell to friendly locals and cycle back to Mekong Ecolodge. Around 15:00, our boat awaits to transport you back to the Cai Be tourist pier, marking the end of this enriching Mekong Delta Eco-Adventure.
