1Day 1: Full day: Bat Trang - But Thap - Dong Ho

Get away from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi and join our cycling tour to the countryside with traditional handicraft villages for refreshments. Handicraft villages are an exciting point that is truly attractive to young adults and culture lovers. This private trip takes you to Bat Trang, Vietnam's most renowned pottery hamlet, and Dong Ho, a famous folk-painting village. It also includes a detour to one of the most remarkable pagodas in North Vietnam called But Thap Pagoda. So, why wait? Travel with us now!

Morning

8:00-8:30: Our bus will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and take you to Bat Trang Pottery Village, where Travelers can learn how to produce a ceramic product in the heirloom recipe.

Here, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to produce a ceramic product using an heirloom recipe. Not only will you be able to observe the artists at work in their studios, but you'll also be able to try your hand at making pottery with their assistance.

After working up an appetite, we'll continue to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch of authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Afternoon

Transfer to But Thap Pagoda and explore the stunning architecture, including the pen-shaped stone stupa and antique Buddhist statues, notably the wooden statue of the 'one thousand eyes and arms' Goddess of Mercy.

Our next stop is Dong Ho Village, where you'll get to learn about traditional Vietnamese wood carving and sculpture, as well as the unique art of Dong Ho Paintings.
